National Nonprofit Thank You First Responder Honors Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco with Meritorious Service Award
Award Ceremony to take place during the National First Responders Day Celebration at the Palm Springs Air Museum’s Car Show and Chili Cook Off on October 26, 2024
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – August 28, 2024 – Thank You First Responder (TYFRO), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting First Responders, is proud to announce that Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco will be awarded the prestigious “Meritorious Service” Award. This accolade recognizes Sheriff Bianco’s unwavering commitment to safety, dignity and public service in Riverside County, California.
Sheriff Bianco has demonstrated extraordinary dedication throughout his career, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. His leadership and integrity have been instrumental in enhancing public trust and fostering a culture of respect and collaboration within the Sheriff’s Department. Under his guidance, Riverside County has seen significant advancements in community policing, emergency response, and crime reduction.
The award will be presented during the celebration of National First Responders Day at the Palm Springs Air Museum’s Car Show and Chili Cook Off on October 26, 2024. The event, a cornerstone of TYFRO’s annual festivities, will feature classic cars, delicious chili, and family-friendly activities, all in honor of the brave men and women who serve as First Responders.

Tim Goulet, Native American Marine Veteran, board member of the Palm Springs Air Museum and Executive Director of Business Development of the 29 Palms Band of Mission Indians, expressed his support for the event: “We are thrilled to host this important celebration of National First Responders Day at our museum. Sheriff Bianco’s exemplary service sets a high standard for all law enforcement professionals. It’s an honor to recognize his contributions to our community here at the Palm Springs Air Museum while celebrating National First Responders Day.”

The Palm Springs Air Museum’s Car Show and Chili Cook Off promises a day filled with excitement, entertainment, and heartfelt gratitude for First Responders. Attendees will have the opportunity to see an array of classic and exotic cars, sample some of the best chili in the region, and participate in various activities designed to honor and support First Responders.
