Thank You First Responder Honored at The Delray Center’s 6th Annual Art Exhibition & Charity Auction
~ Funds Dedicated to Mental Health First Aid Training for South Florida First Responders
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – APRIL 2, 2019 – Thank You First Responder, Inc. (TYFRO), a 501(c)3 South Florida based non-profit has been selected as the benefactor of The Delray Center’s 6th Annual Art Exhibition & Charity Auction on Friday, April 12th, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Bamboo Garden Yoga, 88 SE 4th Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida.
The Delray Center hosts an art show, complete with music and food, to raise money for local charitable organizations each year. This year’s Art Off The Ave invites you to join Delray Center staff, alumni & friends, as we exhibit and auction artwork from local artist to provide First Responders with Mental Health First Aid Training.
“Through this creative partnership with The Delray Center our momentum will further accelerate our mission to provide South Florida First Responders with the tools to helping them better understand mental illness and addiction, and provide them with effective response options to deescalate incidents without compromising safety,” stated Stanton Smith, TYFRO Co-Founder and Board Member. “Additional benefits include helping First Responders recognize potential internal challenges when facing extreme workplace volatility,” added Smith, who also serves as Communications Director for BrandStar Studio.
