Action Roofing Named Presenting Sponsor for Thank You First Responder’s Third Annual National First Responders Day Celebration in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – October 24, 2025 – Thank You First Responder Organization (TYFRO), a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to honoring and supporting first responders, has named Action Roofing the presenting sponsor for its third annual National First Responders Day celebration. The event will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Panthers Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale.
The celebration will feature free ice skating for First Responders and the Fire & ICE Hockey Game, a rematch of last year’s popular police vs. firefighters matchup. The event honors the courage and sacrifice of those who run toward emergencies to keep communities safe.
Singer-songwriter and TYFRO co-founder Matt Jackson will perform the Thank You First Responder Anthem, continuing the tradition of heartfelt musical tributes. The evening will also spotlight WhiteFlag, a mental health support app dedicated to assisting first responders. In addition, information will be provided about a free leadership course for first responders and service-disabled veterans, made possible by the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation.
